Girl Scouts

January 18, 2017 Troop 4614 are small, yet mighty! These girls teamed up to move half the pile of dirt and top off the garden beds! Wheelbarrows were too heavy when full for these girls to push. They improvised by filling up several pots with dirt, wheeling them over, and dumping them into each bed. Getting it done! Thanks girl scouts! GOTR and Tom West

11/9/16 Thank you to Girls On the Run for the generous workday you gave us!! These hard-working mini volunteers laid mulch around, filled beds with dirt (after several weeks of settling, they needed a bump up), and plastic was re-pinned in the back. We love your energy and teamwork!!! What great girls! Also, in blueberry news….work has begun on the lovely blueberry patch donated by Tom West! Colleen Williams and her husband Andy began cutting beams for the border and rotatiller-ing (is that a word? It is now 😂) the ground.
